ROTARY ROCKS THE RAUE WITH THE DEFINITIVE FLEETWOOD MAC TRIBUTE BAND

<Crystal Lake>, IL –October 12, 2022 – Rotary Rocks Raue Center with “Fleetwood Max: The Definitive Fleetwood Mac Tribute.” This fundraising event will raise the roof with rockin’ music. Experience the magic of Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks with Fleetwood Max at 8 p.m. on November 5, 2022.

“Fleetwood Max truly brings the music of Fleetwood Mac to life,” says Raue Center Board President, Tim Paul. “From the haunting, melodic sounds of Stevie Nicks to the driving beats of Mick Fleetwood, it makes for a night audiences won’t soon forget.”

From the “Rumours” album in 1977 to current touring setlists, Fleetwood Max performs an authentic recreation of the music, magic, and incredible stage production of the legendary Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac at the height of their careers!  The Fleetwood Max experience captures the mystical atmosphere, look and sound of these enigmatic Rock and Roll Hall of Famers with outstanding vocal and character performances by a cast of the most respected professional touring musicians on the East Coast.

Lead vocalist Sharon Epperson is a Stevie Nicks look-and-sound-alike who is nearly indistinguishable in her every move, look, and passionate vocals. The audience will be transported to an enchanted place that truly embodies Nicks, with breathtaking costuming and compelling performances of her hit songs, including “Sara,” “Gypsy,” “Rhiannon,” “Edge of Seventeen” and more.

Vocalist and guitarist David Epperson will hypnotize the audience when he takes the stage as Lindsey Buckingham, demonstrating inspired, accomplished guitar and vocal veracity during group numbers, including “Go Your Own Way” and acoustic flair with a rarely seen live, note-for-note performance of the crowd favorite, “Big Love.”

“The Rotary Club of Crystal Lake Dawnbreakers is very excited to be able to support local organizations in need with the proceeds from our treasured partnership with the Raue Center in presenting “Rotary Rocks The Raue!” says Cliff Jackson, Rotary’s director of membership.

The Blooze Brothers Mix Classic Rock and Blues

CRYSTAL LAKE, Ill. – March 30, 2022 – Rock into summer at Raue Center with the Midwest’s #1 Blues Brothers tribute! Raue Center For The Arts is excited to welcome the Blooze Brothers back to the stage at 8 p.m. on May 6, 2022. This performance was rescheduled from its original January 14, 2022 date.

“Raue Center is proud to bring the Blooze Brothers back to our stage,” says Raue Center Board President, Tim Paul. “Last season, audiences raved about how authentic this act is to the original Dan Akroyd and John Belushi characters,” he continued. “The Blooze Brothers will have you dancing and rocking in your seats. I strongly urge you not to miss this return engagement!”

For over a quarter of a century (yes, really), the Blooze Brothers have been one of Chicagoland’s most in-demand show bands. Blooze Brothers not only honors the music made by the original Blues Brothers in movies, TV, and recordings but the spirit in which they played – from Dan Aykroyd’s love of traditional blues and soul to John Belushi’s love of classic rock. Like Aykroyd and Belushi, the Blooze Brothers fuse those great musical traditions into a stage show that energizes and delights hundreds of thousands of music fans across the greater Chicago area and beyond every year.

Blooze Brothers have played for major venues like Soldier Field and the House of Blues, plus hundreds of festivals, theaters, weddings, backyard barbecues, and everything in between. The band was also honored to represent the state of Illinois and perform at a presidential inauguration in Washington, D.C.

With the combination of two high-energy frontmen, a dynamic female lead singer, some of Chicago’s top musicians and a 1974 Dodge Monaco Bloozemobile replica, the Blooze Brothers provide a musical experience that can’t be beaten! Don’t miss the fun May 6, 2022 at 8p at Raue Center!

Tickets start at $26 and may be purchased online at rauecenter.org or via the Box Office at 815.356.9212 or 26 N. Williams Street in downtown Crystal Lake.

ABBA MANIA PACKS THE HOUSE AT RAUE CENTER

Raue Center was thrilled to have a packed house for the first time since the quarantine began back in March of 2020. ABBA Mania had Raue’s audience members laughing, clapping, and dancing to the hits of the 70s Swedish pop superstars.

“Having such a large crowd in our theater was a bit of a strange feeling after the hardships of the past year and a half but it underscored the reasons why we have been increasingly vocal about the need to get vaccinated or show a negative test before you come to the show,” explained development manager James Knight.

“It was refreshing to see so many in our audience willing to do the little things to help us keep our community safe. We’ve got a number of other big shows on the horizon: Amy Grant, Night Fever, and Hyprov with Colin Mochrie…so a big thanks to our audience for helping keep us all safe and getting Raue Center back on track!”
